For over 30 years, the Friends have provided expert-led tours of the cemetery, bringing its history to life, based on the knowledge which comes from years of research. Our tour leaders share the stories of those buried here, along with insights into the architecture, symbolism, and social context of the memorials, offering you a deep understanding of the era.

Each tour is different.

Scheduled  tours

We offer guided tours of the cemetery every first Sunday in the month. You can also join one of our Saturday tours and Special Interest tours to mark International Women’s Day, War Graves Week, Lambeth Heritage Festival, Black History Month, and lots more  Please see Eventbrite for dates and to book your place.

Group tours on request

We also arrange tours for companies, history groups and others.  The minimum fee is £120 for the first 10 people and £12 thereafter.
